They don't know how to stand together in lockstep.

They should be concerned with the thief.

See, they have all that mouth for the POTUS and other Dems, but docile as a mouse when it comes to dealing with these Rethuglican sociopaths in government.

It had nothing to do with politics. Charles Kushner committed serious, vicious crimes, crimes for which people regularly go to jail, unlike what Hunter was prosecuted for.

campaigns in the names of his partnerships when he lacked authorization to do so. In 2005, following an investigation by the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey, US Attorney Chris Christie negotiated a plea agreement with him, under which Kushner pleaded guilty to 18 counts of illegal campaign contributions, tax evasion, and witness tampering. The witness tampering charge arose from Kushner's retaliation against William Schulder, his sister Esther's husband, who was cooperating with federal investigators against Kushner. Kushner hired a prostitute to seduce his brother-in-law, arranged to record a sexual encounter between the two, and had the tape sent to his sister.

Kushner was sentenced to two years in prison. He served 14 months at Federal Prison Camp, Montgomery in Alabama before being sent to a halfway house in Newark, New Jersey, to complete his sentence. He was released from prison on August 25, 2006.

As a convicted felon, Charles Kushner was also disbarred and prohibited from practicing law in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Republican Chris Christie, who chaired Trump’s first transition team, said Kushner committed "one of the most loathsome, disgusting crimes" he prosecuted. In her book Too Much and Never Enough, President Trump's niece Mary L. Trump wrote that Charles Kushner had given a speech in which he claimed that Ivanka Trump had only made herself worthy of inclusion in his family by committing to convert to Judaism, which Mary Trump found "a bit rich" given Kushner's past as a convicted felon.

On December 23, 2020, President Trump issued a full and unconditional pardon to Kushner, his daughter's father-in-law, citing his record of "reform" and "charity". The Star-Ledger called it an empty pardon that carried "no moral weight."

Or, being an adjudicated rapist. Never mind the hypocrisy over the Kushner pardon. This is infinitely more egregious.

President Trump and his gang charged a pretty penny for some of those pardons, but that was swept under the rug along with the rest of his crimes.

Because that’s what today’s Republican Party is all about. Harming your perceived enemies. Ergo

Outrage because President Biden pardoned his son to save his life.

I’m outraged at the outrage.

I mean, who gives a flying F what they think?

Their reaction was 100% predictable & expected, & yes, once again they've proven themselves to be as thoroughly idiotic & hypocritical as we knew they were.

No surprise, nothing new, not news, I'm not wasting my time on their BS.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

If it’s not an outright pathology, it’s very close.

No doubt Republicans would have loved to see President Biden throw his son to the wolves. It was never going to happen.

...she hates that Biden did it because the both sides people will use the hypocrisy as a justification. I wrote this yesterday in another forum:

If his name wasn't "Biden" and he wasn't related to Joe, he would have never been brought to trial. The same applies to his potential sentence. Lastly, considering the biggest fucking archcriminal in American history is taking office, as opposed to going to prison, and the Supreme Court has put him above the law, and there is proof he used the Bureau of Prisons against Michael Cohen, fucking yes, I'd pardon my son.

If you're a Democrat and you question this, you haven't come to understand the reality we're about to live in. And, unfortunately, some people's lives have led them to be unable to appreciate just how ugly, petty, and corrupt those in power can be.

Joe Biden had no business allowing the incoming corrupt administration, which has already expressed as plainly as can be done how they will go after their political enemies, to be in charge of his son. Even if you're in a federal correction camp, and I guarantee you a dollar to a doughnut he wasn't going to be sent to one of those, bad and dangerous things can happen to you. Hunter Biden in prison with any January 6 insurrectionist nut is a risk, and that's just one person out of many who may feel they have a reason to go after him. Fuck the naysayers and the pearl clutchers. Joe Biden, who's already lost two children, shouldn't let his son be put in harm's way to try to prove a point about integrity when we have what we have coming into the White House.
