Last edited Sun Dec 8, 2024, 06:49 AM - Edit history (1)
Been going on for like a month. They are not UFOs (those are flying over airports in the UK! Another very weird story...). These are drones as big as cars (!!!) and they stay in the air for hours (how?). LE says they're no threat but doesn't know who is operating them and the FBI is even investigating. WTF??? How can they be determined not to be a threat if they're up there every night and nobody knows who's behind it or what they're doing? I find this extremely creepy. Isn't this is national security issue? Why can't LE or the FBI send their own drones up for a closer look - or use a zoom lens?

That's bizarre!

If the unknown operators don't come forward before nightfall, send FBI drones up equipped with
little ammunition baring guns and blast them out of the sky when they are flying over a field!
Hey, I wouldn't want something flying over my house at night and not know what the hell it is.

Nah, I actually believe the drone operators can be discovered from above with those fancy schmancy heat seeking see-in-the-dark goggles. I betcha those drone owners live right there in their neighborhoods and think it's a really fun making all this news. Whoever they are, I hope they are publicly indicted, arrested, charged and prosecuted for scaring the whole county half to death.

I'd add their license plate number info down on a list I keep in car to turn into Sheriff's office. Drones as big as go-carts, doon-buggies
or small cars? Them ain't drones. Remember back a couple yrs ago when we had weather balloons flying over? Were they from China or Russia? Do we need to establish a Junior FAA to keep up with miscellaneous things buzzin' around

(38,087 posts)but they are meeting to watch the drones. There is a thread on Reddit saying where they're watching at and people go out to watch with others. Mostly Morris County.
In addition, the thread has people telling their town and if there are drones.
Not all are car-sized.
At least one town has told its citizens they will be flying their own drones and not to panic.

(1,627 posts)I ask because I had an interaction, with four others, with a small triangular dark object, roughly 50 to 60 feet above us.
It made a low pitched hum, and glided smoothly over us three times.
We were deep in the mountains of PA, Skullkill county, in a valley camped in a small clearing near a spring.
this was about 1981, summer late July, early August.
Heres the interesting part.. we all carried handguns in the mountains. the third time it flew over us, we all fired on it.
44 mag, 357mag. 45 acp and 38 spl.
It was flying very slowly, we could all hear the bullets connecting but they had no effect, it never wobbled, stuttered or changed course, just flew off over the trees.
That was the last time it bothered us though. As I said, it flew slow, was only 50 to 60 feet in the air, triangular in shape about the size of a large dinner table.
We were all very accomplished handgun shooters and we all hit it with the rounds fired.

Ability to maneuver on a dime at high speeds and some have also had that very bright central light. You can hear jets and they generally don't fly at night and at their altitude, don't move as fast. Planes move much slower across the night sky compared to these craft. It wasn't just one night.

New Jersey guy here, just spent 30 mins with my mother freezing our butts off looking at these drones flying over head just a few minutes ago. I live near McGuire AFB and it was nuts there were like 8-10 of them flying at different altitudes. They are not a small plane, I've seen everything fly around this base from Jets to C-10s these things are weird they have the supposed shape of a small plane but one flew by very low and it looked like it was cloaked so the true shape could be seen. Also it makes a turbine sound not a propeller one. It almost sounded like it was faking the sound like it sounded like an airliner passing by at 30,000 ft you know that sound but It was just above my house where I've had C-10 pass-by at that height and it rattles the whole house. Something is super fishing about all this. If they are military just come out and say "yeah those are ours, just ignore them" but they keep saying they don't know what they are.

(4,411 posts)Anybody know how to jam the signals that control them?

Attilatheblond
(4,411 posts)Here in AZ, where we have seen some pretty big & weird things that caused USAF to scramble fighters a few years back, we don't get noise with the UFO things.
soandso
(1,627 posts)Why they're doing it is also odd. If everyone just golden orbs flying and hovering, what could they do about it? Why disguise them with loud noise and semi-resembling planes?
soandso
(1,627 posts)with following this subject for years is that there's all kinds of weirdness up there. Some look solid, some like balls of plasma, some have lights, some don't, some make noise and and others are completely silent.
soandso
(1,627 posts)because nobody knows what these are. All hands on deck and nobody knows jack. That's why it's absurd to BS the public by claiming these are not a threat. I don't understand why no other craft - drones, small planes, helicopter, haven't been sent up to get a closer look. Same with looking at them with a telescope or binoculars. I am convinced, however, what people are hearing and seeing is cloaking and the real thing behind the cloaking probably looks like an orb or some other weird thing. Why whoever is behind this is choosing to cloak these things is strange because there are thousands of sightings of orbs/balls of light.
Bernardo de La Paz
(51,081 posts)The FBI wouldn't have air defence / air surveillance systems like the military and civil aviation.
It strikes me as very odd that repeated activity is occurring and the military denies both (a) running them and (b) knowing what they are. It seems they are rather incompetent at defense or at public relations: (b) is clearly an incompetent result and if the case is instead case (a), then the military would be smart to just say, "yeah, that's us, sorry we got you concerned, it is just some operational tests probing our defense systems that need to be kept secret."
soandso
(1,627 posts)and that's always the way with military and government. Think of the decades of mystery about Roswell. We all live on earth and have a right to be told whatever they know. After all, they're supposed to be working for us, right? Quaint concept, I know. Thing is, with UFOs/UAPs, I don't think they know much but they should just admit it and show us what they do have. Here's one thing I do know: I do not want to see this shit over my house! Why, you might ask. Because cattle mutilations tell me we have no idea about what this is.

The Enduring Panic About Cow Mutilations | The New Yorker
May 8, 2023The historian Michael Goleman has noted that the mutilation panic of the seventies happened at a time when cattle ranchers had plenty of reasons to resent the federal government. In New Mexico ...
It seems that most of the cases would be farmers who want to cover up a disease like foot-and-mouth from veterinarians and governments who might declare an outbreak and obliterate the farmer's business.
It's easy for many people to exploit people's fears to sell books and make videos for TV and internet.

What I mean by that is that they (the "drones" ) could blink out, disappear, shoot into space, or mess with the observer's craft. (26,940 posts)My mother and brother who are the most truth,-telling, reliable people I have ever known intimately
back in the 1940s:
My mother was picking my brother up at a bus stop from school and an inverted teardrop shaped large craft, Which appeared to have no describable color, and was shimmering, appeared at about a 500 foot elevation. It just hovered there silently. Within a few seconds of them noticing it, two discs shot out from it at roughly 90° angles and disappeared over the horizon with a speed which had never been observed by my mother in her years working for the war department.perhaps two seconds it took for them to vanish.
After a couple minutes that large craft elevated rapidly up and disappeared. Both of them talked about it for the rest of their lives and said that there was no question that it was not of this present technology.
I am going to be blunt and say I dont give a shit what other people believe or dont believe that there is no question. There is an existence of these phenomena, whether they are from distant galaxies, or a future Earth, or civilization, of which we have no knowledge which exists within the Earth I dont wanna hear about swamp gas or jet planes, or astronomical phenomena, masquerading as spacecraft. There have been too many people who are military, police, and ordinary, reasonable citizens who have witnessed these phenomena as a group and of course, there are those who have fabricated stories, but not everyone, that is for certain.

I've made mention that with the advent of advancing science and tech, the apex wealth's interests have little use for the majority of us, and that we're considered 'the slack', as made evident in our failing infrastructure and overall system of governance. If you don't know that politicians have been front men for the ultra-rich as an ever-increasing trend, where have you been?
soandso
(1,627 posts)I said these are not UFOs. I was 100% wrong. Go watch the video in post #88. This has nothing to do with Musk or the rich or anything political. Something huge is happening but you need to watch to see for yourself.
Discerning minds need have their say.
Right away (20 seconds in) I spotted the 'swamp gas' perceptual effect of ground directed light beams reflecting on cloud cover. I know, I know... it looks strange and otherworldly on the backdrop of the evening atmosphere. It could have been drone emitted light beams as well.
I'm not sure you understand that drone technologies have advanced beyond what we see and know about in the mainstream; and I remain fixed on the unannounced rollout of military industrial complex tech, and more than likely an orchestrated introduction coordinated by Musk as a show to demonstrate (in all honesty) the exclusivity of power and position. When the truth comes out, and the mystick fizzles, other publicly palatable excuses and reasonings will be proffered.

You think all of the LE, local and federal, along with the FAA, are just covering for Elon Musk in New Jersey? And, do tell, WTF kind of drone is this?
It's been a long time but I've seen a UFO, up close. Huge, right over the top of the car I was in. A friend, two years ago, witnessed bright orange orbs dancing around the sky in broad daylight.
