Get used to the cat food , grandma

Elon and the ENTIRE GOP establishment wants your $600 a month, grandma. Oh, and forget about the new hip you need, Elon and the GOP want you to live in pain for the rest of your life.

Any GOP pol against Social Security and Medicare gets the full third rail treatment! For all the right reasons, Social Security needs to be protected.

I wonder how the Trump voters down in “The Villages” are going to like cat food?

most budget proposals nowadays.

$ 200 B annually is probably doable without impacting our lives, start with military budget.

she's doing alright. I don't know why cat food is assumed to be cheap, it's not.

Older people really do resort to eating pet food (not even the best brands) when they can't make ends meet. And if the Republicans have their way, a lot of Senior Citizens will become impoverished.

I can remember before food stamps, when the drug store I worked at had a sale on canned cat food, many older women would buy a dozen or more cans. This is when cat food came in 12 oz cans instead of 3 and 5 oz cans.

I was new to the store and asked an older worker why these women were buying so much cat food. I learned that cat food was all they could afford to eat. Then food stamps were introduced, and over time we had fewer cat food sales.
