Bible Boom: Why Are People Buying So Many Bibles?

MY guess would be that the right-wing groups buy conservative books by the pallet load to push the sale numbers up on the NYT "best-seller" list to make it look like there is a vast demand artificially. [see below]

These pallets eventually show up in smaller numbers in used bookstores with dramatic discounts. It's all part of a long, ongoing scam, which has been documented over the years.

put there for religious reasons and such, but they just happened to make it into that particular room, where they got grabbed up on put back on the shelves. Ha ha heh. I'm more of a science fiction guy anyways.
