Would you have wanted to be on the street when Brian Thompson was killed?

Imagine just walking down the street in midtown and witnessing that, devoid of context, without knowing it was targeted. How scared would you be? How scarred would you be seeing an execution in real time?
This really isn't something to celebrate.

And do the same thing.

How many times do you think this has to happen before someone gets the message?

Think. Again.

But I have been in some similar situations. It’s surreal. You just try to make yourself as unobtrusive as possible and get out of Dodge as quick as you can.

I've been shot, in the chest, on the street, as a kid. It happened fast. No time to panic. I was level-headed enough to get the license plate of the driver. Everyone may react differently than one would expect.

I saw someone get blown away by a shot in the head. Same thing, it didn't phase me or freak me out. I did what I had to do that was appropriate at the time.

Now both times adrenaline kicked in, but thankfully after the event.
