The problem with MSM is that everything has to be a spectacle.

Everyone is looking at the shooting, because its relatable. Its like a tv show or movie.

I really appreciate it when I turn on MSNBC and they don't cover the a story like that. You can get that anywhere. You can't get political analysis or discussion of martial law in S. Korea just anywhere. And very few people care. The mainstream media is dumb because that's what dumb people watch.

This goes along with saying that we need to find a candidate with "star power". As if only a politically inexperienced celebrity can lead the country. Lets get Oprah! Mark Zuckerberg! George Clooney! Because the truly knowledgeable people who love this country just aren't exciting enough.

They want politics to be exciting, interesting, dramatic, entertaining.

None of it is serious to them.

When they have no 'new" news, which is most of the time, they make it up or replay the same thing over and over until people want to scream.

I get sick of it.
