They won’t do that with Assad in power, so Erdogan may secretly help the rebels.

I just saw they’ve pulled down the statue of Bashar Al Assad’s father which is only a few kilometers from the presidential palace.

We can only hope Assad and his family decide to go out as martyrs (although I’m guessing the new regime will be a worse ISIS type).

Really surprised that they've moved this fast, coming from the north and the south. Assad better flee for real now if he doesn't want to get the Qaddafi treatment.

Nobody knows where Assad and his family are atm. I presume they’re gone. He’s under no delusion that his people love him and knows all too well his fate will be grim. Once the last of his military deserts him (which sounds like it’s already happened), it’s over
