Saturday, December 7th, MSNBC Films presents Separated, an NBC News Studios production. Oscar-winning filmmaker Errol Morris probe of family separation and immigration, based on NBC News Political and National Correspondent Jacob Soboroffs book, merges interviews with government officials and narrative vignettes tracing one migrant familys plight. Against this backdrop, audiences can begin to absorb the U.S. governments role in developing and implementing policies that have kept over 1,300 children without confirmed reunifications years later, according to the Department of Homeland Security. Separated airs Saturday, December 7th at 9pm ET on MSNBC.
