Wonder Why

Another incident, this time in Shrewsbury, UK, reminiscent of the Thompson shooting.

Someone mad about Ebenezer Scrooge defaced his tombstone because he was angry about the moneylender underpaying his employees and cheating the poor people in London. There's still a lot of anger because of a reporter named Dickens who revealed the insidious details of his life.

It's also possible that the destruction was caused by his former partner, one Jacob Marley who might have been upset about what Marley called Ebenezer's "wimping out after being visited by three trans-living characters who falsely warned him that DEI violations could affect his future". Marley, while coincidentally was at the same cemetery, had no comment.

An attorney for the Scrooge estate stated that a lawsuit against "neo-liberal terrorists is in progress as well as one charging the aforementioned reporter Dickens with alternate facts" and he denied that Scrooge would have ever supported Medicaid to treat any child.

Today's "The Guardian" website mentioned the attack but had no further information on the facts mentioned above. Perhaps the political atmosphere of late has made them hesitant to go into detail.
