Note to media. There was never a civil war in Syria just a butcher sociopathic regime propped up by Russia and Iran that massacred hundreds of thousands of Syrians.
Just like there were never separatists in temp Russian occupied Crimea and Donbas just Russian mercenaries, intel, and military units

Russia disseminates mass disinfo to confuse people so they lose interest. This is what happened in Syria & Russia’s 2014 invasion in Ukraine. It’s maddening hearing this baselessly repeated. Until last year U.S. media was using maps of occupied territories in Ukraine with the imaginary separatists 🤦🏼‍♀️

1. I think this disinformation is ongoing

Reports are there are traffic jams of joyful Syrians headed home after years in exile.

Simultaneously, there are reports that perhaps the free Syrian army is actually jihadist Sunni murdering thugs waiting to impose a new kaliphate.

These two reports do not square with each other.

Remember they also want to go after certain government offices
because they keep statistics on everything. If there are no stats
then you can't know whats going on or how bad it really is.
