Mass Sucide or Mass Murder

Is it just me, but did almost half the nation just decide to commit suicide and take the rest of them with us. I'm being 100% serious.
Trump is a known quantity, nothing he does should be a surprise.
It's like as if the MAGAts have decided, and those who didn't vote for Harris, but voted for Biden are taking an assault rifle to the democratic republic commiting mass murder. They themselves willing sacrifices.

It's the only analogy that makes sense to me.

Maybe I understand a bit more than others, having read a few books and articles about cults and addictive behaviors, which are remarkably similar, attacking many of the same human weaknesses.

Cults usually "legitimize" some otherwise unacceptable behavior, such as racism, misogyny, hate, violence and so on, but in turn, they are self-destructive, as members lose inentity, integrity, money, opportunity and dignity.

Unfortunately, we’re seeing that quote play out in our lifetimes.
