https://www.rawstory.com/tulsi-gabbard-2670415200/Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has not been doing well in courting senators on Capitol Hill to support her possible nomination as the Director of National Intelligence, according to a report.
President-elect Donald Trump declared he wanted the former Democratic presidential candidate on his team early on in the transition process, but she didn't hit Senate offices until Monday.
Her interviews have not been going well, said one GOP senator, speaking to Jewish Insider anonymously. One told me she was the worst-prepared candidate and was kind of trying to get by on her BS personality.

OP
The problem is becoming that it doesn't matter how bad they are as a candidate or how poorly prepared....

Typically they say they want to be off the record, but thats not in the article.

Musk is threatening to primary anyone who votes against Trump's picks, and it's gaining traction. Ernst was a pretty definite no-go on Hegseth, but now is waffling since she apparently got reminded that she's up for re-election in 2026.

(186,997 posts)4. Yeah Ernst had some better things to say about Hegseth. Ernst is up for reelection in 2026.
She said her second netting with him was encouraging. Shes worried about getting primaried.

He is a chaos agent. He flipped the election and he's going to put bootlickers and loyalists in positions of power that they don't belong in. Scary times that we live in right now.
