(That story is told in the first season of Rachel Maddow’s podcast “Ultra”, as well as her book, “Prequel”).

And no, Meuller’s report doesn’t count, as it was submitted to Barr, not Garland.

Redactions for national security reasons, or ongoing prosecutions (charges against Trump’s minions in the docs case are still pending) would be expected, but otherwise, I expect we will see some form of the report before January 20.
