Just the usual show with usual guests. I went back to bed.

(65,177 posts)We will watch Morning Joe closely after TSF takes office. If they start demurring to him it will become clear that visit was bad news for us. If not, we can say that Mika and Joe learned a lesson. FAFO, kiddos.

I thought that Joe and Mika's little visit to Mar a Lago was terrible and reflected badly on them, but we'll have to see what they do when TSF get back in the White House.

(65,177 posts)I also like many of their other guests. I like Rev. Al and all the women they have on. I like the guy with a pearl necklace (I forget his name). MJ has a broad spectrum of contributors and Mika has a wonderful array of women from lots of sectors. Today they had Molly Jong Fast (who is Erica Jong's daughter) and she's great.

(5 posts)I gave up on CNN so I would watch MJ and MSNBC. I never agreed 100% with Joe but having grown up in a old school republican household, I had tolerance (not acceptance) of his views. I also enjoyed the quality and diversity of the guests.
I was a complete news junkie. To a point where it was really difficult to have a conversation with anyone. So few have the time or inclination to learn about the topics that are dear to us. It seemed that people just gave up and revert to entertainment. Facts are complicated and to many, simply boring. I attended a dinner party right after the election where the conversation for nearly the whole night centered around pop culture, entertainers and scandals. I wanted to flip tables and grab people by the collars.... you know that feeling.
Since election day, I have gone complete cold turkey. No MJ. No Rachel. No Lawrence. Just DU.... I just can't wrap my brain around all that is now in jeopardy. The world is on a precipice and no one outside notices. We have to preserve our sanity and energy for what's to come.

.Never again would they watch the show. They were DONE with Joe and Mika and their show. So
.
If they go back to watching him, how are they any different than Lindsey Graham saying hes done with tRump but going back to him days later. As if all is forgiven.
I stopped watching the day they announced their visit at Mara Lago and have not been back, even out of curiosity. I have no plan to go back. They showed us who they are
..and I believed them.
