President-elect Donald Trump's intentions to appoint Kash Patel to lead the FBI sparked a backlash among the national security and intelligence world, but now former President Bill Clinton is sounding the alarm on another concern.
Speaking to the co-hosts of "The View" on Wednesday, Clinton was asked about the idea of preemptively pardoning scores of Democrats who may be on Trump's target list.
Sunny Hostin noted that Hillary Clinton is on Patel's list of targets.
"Well, they got a problem with her because first, she didn't do anything wrong," said Clinton about his wife's "email" scandal.
"Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written," he said about the laws that once applied to email communications in the federal government. The laws were changed after Clinton's time at the State Department in 2014.

I can't even make it halfway through the latest threads without being triggered today.
Time to turn it off. Nothing we "peons" can do... and the rest of the current govt is acting like the cheeto is already in charge. It's gonna be a long 4 years... or more....

(16,747 posts)... so involvement in politics is no longer of appeal to liberals and progressives.
Kind of like how djt and the Fascist ReThugs drove off any remaining moderate Republicans and banished them from the political system.
Make is so intolerable the level of harassment - that the sane Dems are driven off so you are left with only the Fetterman, Manchin, Sinema, and Sen. Joe Lieberman types in Washington DC.
