More and more I'm depressed by what seems to me to be a change in society's attitude toward politics. It seems like too many people treat political campaigns as entertainment. Would there be quite such an outpouring if Mangione were short and fat?

People need to stop asking why people are so horrible that they condone what happened and start asking why people believe there isn't a peaceful solution.
