Meanwhile, China is building the world's highest bridge

While Americans fritter away our civil rights and threaten the world with trade wars, China has some other stuff going on:



They're turning the bridge into a tourist attraction and putting a bungie jump station in the center of the span.

2. How the heck to they string the first cable between the two tower supports?

I know, once that first cable is up, they use a spinning machine to string the rest.

In this case, they had to have used a helicopter to get the first cable across, no?

7. Just amazing. I didn't think I had a fear of heights, but after watching this I'm not so sure anymore.

You couldn’t pay me any sum of money to bungee jump from 2,000 ft. Never. I might even be hesitant to even drive or walk across it. Gulp.
What’s also incredible is how fast the Chinese government have developed that backwater providence. What’s also extraordinary is that China has been engaged in that level of new infrastructure and modernization all over their country. Makes our present infrastructure projects and improvements seem kind of feeble in comparison.
