I seriously doubt that TFG is done committing felonies.

His crimes in the second term will be bigger and bolder. Why hold back? He has never been held accountable for ANYTHING and there is no reason to think he EVER will be.

trump can and does get away with everything. I'm convinced trump is the perfect response to "there is no god." If there was a god, trump would not be allowed to be trump; there would be some accountability, some justice. With no god, there are no barriers... just as much evil as he can dream of, and he can dream big when it comes to evil. I fear we're headed back into the Dark Ages for a new Era. I've got a grandson on the gender spectrum to protect, and a group of Pagans who've been together for nearly 30 years to try to shepherd through this. I don't expect "easy" on any of it... and especially because many of us are females... already born behind the 8 ball.

They said he has learned his lesson!

"If a call like that gets you an impeachment, I would think you would think twice before you did it again" - Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn

“I believe that the president has learned from this case. The president has been impeached. That’s a pretty big lesson. He was impeached. And there has been criticism by both Republican and Democratic senators of his call. I believe that he will be much more cautious in the future.” - Sen. Susan Collins R-ME

"I think that he knows now that if he is trying to do certain things — whether it's ferreting out corruption there, in Afghanistan, whatever it is — he needs to go through the proper channels." -Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa

“I think he’s learned that he has to be maybe a little more judicious and careful, the way he’s phrasing certain things.” - Sen. Shelley Moore Capito R-West Virginia

And I'm still not exactly sure what we'll end up doing. Money says we stay put and try to make the best of it, since money is in such short supply and won't be forthcoming anytime soon. But I have friends in WA who'd like to see us move up there, and Goddess knows I'd give anything I have to be able to do that and be with like-minded people. I'm also wondering about a reverse immigration crisis. Just kind of slip in with the deportees and get a free ride South. Maybe we could help make "those" countries better than the U.S. has become.

I actually came out with "I wish I could be the one to slip in and shoot him in the head." BAD, girl! But those are my feelings. And why are they any less valid than what they are saying about us? I'm feeling desperate, frustrated to the max, and wondering why I have to hold myself in when every maga on earth is acting out on their worst instincts? Why shouldn't I feel towards them like this? I've already started popping off, mouth-wise, at the grocery store over trump and prices, and not caring who hears me. I WANT them to live with what we've suffered for the last decade, and I want them to suffer worse because of it. I no longer believe there is any good maga. If you're a maga, you're a domestic terrorist (or at least, one in training), a traitor to your country, and a Russian asset. You're also trash as a personal human being, because that's the way you treat everyone except your maga friends (and how do we know you don't treat them bad, too?!).

I've got the worst of the worst right here, right now, I'm afraid. I bury my Mom tomorrow at the National Cemetery. I feel like I bury my country a few days after that. And, staring 70 in the face in three weeks, there's the recognition that my body can't fight like it used to when I did this the first time around in the 70's. Nor would anyone hire me for anything but walmart greeter. At some point, I may pull myself out of the funk and lay out some kind of plan... but right now, it's just all so overwhelming.

57. I used to work for Harcourt, Brace, Jovanovich, the publishers

Was hired in as an editor, became that and a proofreader, as well as curriculum developer. That's my love, right there. I worked with the Reserves and National Guard on their military training via Blackboard and Sharepoint for 2 decades. Even wrote my own set of lessons for Wicca 101 and 102 using Moodle. It might be such a thing that the Council on Aging could point me someplace that needs my skill sets.

Once I see the lay of the land with the holy rollers around here, I'd love to start doing card readings again. I once paid by rent that way, and believe me, I didn't charge anywhere near what readers are charging these days! (LOL) But I'm very careful because my multiple cats make me a target in the city, as does "guilt by association" with my group. I need to know the bad old days of throwing us in jail because we held a circle service in our front room are over with... and I'm not sure of that right now. But so far, my website stays up, and I'm in the process of helping another pagan get his online without the PII usually associated with it.

The latest chapter of my life wrapped up this afternoon. We had a small service for my Mom, and she was buried next to Dad at the National Cemetery. The guide even talked to me about planning a plot for me, and for my husband when his time comes. I think it'd be a neat thing to make one small section of the cemetery actually look like a "family plot", simply because of our military service! I'm also kinda keeping my ears and eyes open on what could come available at Joint Base McChord. While you've got some old civilian managers who can't make the jump into the 21st century, the military is a good place for older experienced people to find a home away from home with a job. If trump and hegsmith can keep from ruining it completely.

And thank you for putting to words what I've been thinking. I feel betrayed by those I campaigned for, gave what little discretionary money I had, and pushed GOTV for years. For having so little, whatever I did to help hurt me and the family. Where are our thanks? Where are those people standing up and fighting for us? And Fetterman is going to Mar a lago? Man... what a frackin' disappointment. And he's just the first off the top of my head. Feet of clay, indeed. Too worried about their own jobs and money to be concerned about their constituents' situations. I'm at the point of the old saying about politicians... kill 'em all and let god sort them out. I swear, we'd do better off breaking into tribal regions, with each region a self-governing entity... no politics; no government, per se. Maybe out of that chaos, some justice and order could come about. That's basically where my head is leaning these days. Cause all I see right now is Lord of the Flies.

He's actually a lot like a crime boss; fully immersed in criminal activities all his life.
And he's always had a lot of enablers around him; people who gave him the free pass, or at best a slap on the wrist. Now, with all he has gotten away with over the past 8 years, he's going to be a lot bolder and more upfront with his arrogant dismissal of the rule of law as it should be applied to him.
And just like a crime boss, he rules through fear. Even at it's best, he's always been transactional. "I'll do you a favor if you do one for me".
The next 4 years will be his crowning achievement as it applies to a lifetime of dedication to graft and corruption.

card readings for the year to come. Man... let me tell you, THAT took courage to get through! But I saw we'd have 6-9 months of absolute horror with trump... and then he's going down. And it will be a woman who takes him down. I don't know if it's legally, mentally, or just pushing him over the edge to death... but I saw it. And one of my friends said she's been picking at podcasts of other readers and they were basically saying the same things I saw in the cards. I hope we're right. For me, who has been reading for 40+ years, the "worst" card in a Tarot deck is NOT the Death card. It's the Tower card. And boy, was that damned tower falling all around trump. The destruction of anything and everything he's built up to now. I do hang on to that in my darkest hours, and try not to engender karma to myself (gryn).

It can be a fall from fame or fortune, or a fall from illusions that a person has clung to; anything that brings you back down to earth in a not-to-gentle manner.
Trump has built this great "Trump Tower" around himself. It would be good to see him fall from it.
