claim they know why Democrats lost and then announce what Democrats need to do that I've come to this conclusion.
They are all filtering their analysis through their own ideological lens and none really have a clue. So people that align with Bernie Sanders are going to say that Democrats need to move left. Those who are in line James Carville are going to Democrats need to be more moderate. Etc, etc etc.
The problem I see with this approach is that it is not focused on on the ground realities. What works in Indiana won't work in California and vice versa. Democrats have to talk to voters and really listen to them instead of pundits and consultants. That's the only way to win.
Anyway that's my rant of the day. Have a good one.

(22,495 posts)And there are tons of independent newspapers, where most people get their news. That network TV is essentially fair or balanced.
The reality is the Republicans lost the 2018, 2020, and 2022 election cycle and didnt change at all. They simply marched on and allowed the slow domination of the news and reality take affect. Most Americans live in a post-truth era where they voted for a mythical Trump and mythical GOP policies that have mythically worked in the past.
The democrats don't control any major news outlet; the radio, papers, TV, and worse social media. The democrats have no ability to get information to rural America and they can only count on education and big cities so much. Eventually, you have to be able to get your message out, and control your message. Forget what the message is, the thing pundits think mattered. The democratic message these days is what the GOP controlled media tells Americans it is. That's the fucking problem.
