Gene Hackman and his wife were found dead in their New Mexico home. A preliminary statement from the sheriff says that are no signs of foul play.
Hackman was a retired actor and his wife was a classical pianist.
Hackman was in several movies spanning several decades. He was in Hoosiers, Superman, Mississippi Burning plus many others.
Story from CNN an hour ago. Details of cause of death were being investigated.

(50,434 posts)It's one thing for GH to die of "natural causes". It's another thing for his wife to contemporaneously die along with him. But the dog . . . .
When all three die together within a specific time frame, I'm thinking carbon monoxide.

(47,090 posts)His wife was much younger than he was, so seems unlikely both would have died at the same time unless something like carbon monoxide leak happened.
