https://www.yahoo.com/news/popular-mac-cheese-brand-recalled-163000556.htmlProduct recalls have been on the rise as of late, with some of our favorite foods being affected the most. Theres no downplaying the urgency of any recall, however, you cant blame consumers for getting fed up in the process. Its important for companies to get out ahead of any health issue, as well as communicate clearly with consumers so that they can feel safe purchasing the products they love.
According to a notice published on February 5, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is recalling 4,246 cases of Feel Good Foods' Three Cheese Mac & Cheese Bites due to the potential of contamination with a foreign material. The notice specifically cites the discovery of small pieces of metal in the recalled products, officially landing this recall the title of a Class II event.
Per the FDA, a Class II recall is the second-most severe risk level a recall event can receive. It indicates a situation in which the use of or exposure to a violative product may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote.

I'm pretty sure I have some of this.
It isn't very good at all.

(21,328 posts)5. I bought it online
I am a regular vitacost.com customer.
I think I liked it at first and didn't like it later.
I will throw it away. I think it cost a couple of bucks at the most.
It was not good the second time around, that's for sure.
Never again for this brand!

(17,430 posts)9. Here's the thing, quick meals are not good for you
I cook everything fresh with the exception of some canned tomatoes, frozen veggies.
But Mac and cheese is a pretty easy dish to make. While the noodles cook, make the cheese sauce. As a kid I skipped making a cheese sauce and just added milk, butter and cheese straight to the cooked noodles after draining and I liked it just fine.
Thx for the heads up, WhiteTara!
