Something weird happened yesterday with SSA

Mr. WT received his March check on the 26th but I didn't. I sort of expect it on Friday, the 28th, but now I'm concerned. Has this happened to anyone else?

10. If you haven't set up an ID.ME access to federal accounts then try that.

My SSA account login was screwed up when I changed my telephone number. I used ID.ME to set up access to SSA web site and it worked. If you are ever going to change your telephone number then make sure to change the number at SSA & ID.ME before getting rid of your old telephone and number or you will be locked out again.

I put my login in my physical address book and another place so I wouldn't lose it. When you initially set up ID.ME use your web browser privacy/incognito mode so that your web browser cookies won't screw it up for you.

Early due to so-called holiday.

4. My February check arrived on time.

5. Out of 72 million people collecting SS, my guess is that thousands each month

don't get their checks deposited when they think it should happen and that's been going on for decades without any Musk in sight.
My check comes on the 1st of the month and if that's on a weekend it comes on the Friday before the weekend so that's the 28th.
There is way too much obsessing here about SS checks arriving on time so until that is happening routinely to lots and lots of people I wouldn't worry about it.

6. We both used to get our checks on the 1st Wednesday of each month

His came on the last Wednesday. I'm wondering if they are changing based on 1st initial of last name as his begins with W. I'm an H. So if it's now alphabetical, mine would fall on the 2nd Wednesday but all our bills are set between the 1st and 5th.

8. Well, my March check was deposited today & I was expecting it tomorrow.

I looked back and my November check came on November 1st, my December check came on November 29th for December, the 31st of December for January, the 30th of January for February, and the 27th of February for March. Apparently all at the end of the month for the check except for November when I received 2 checks during the month, the first for November and one on the 29th for December.
I can't figure it out but my March check was deposited today. Early, not cancelled or withheld.

12. Wow, I didn't know

this variable existed. I receive my check direct deposit every 2nd Wednesday. It has never been early or late in ten years. This Jan and Feb, it still came right on time. I am waiting to see if I get my check on March 12th. If it shows up, I am going to buy a used car.

After the car, I am investing in gardening stuff. Gonna learn in a hurry how to grow food.

I feel really bad for all those citizens who have lost their jobs. When I applied for SS, they wouldn't give it to me because I had a part time job, which had become unbearable to me. I resigned, obtained my SS, and kept on going, because I could. I feel really bad for those older Government workers who won't be able to get another job because of being older.

There will be a special place in hell for musk, trump, and putin. If there is no hell, then may they be placed in an isolated spot in heaven where they have to review the lives of every person they harmed. Should keep them busy for a long time. They won't be welcome in my heaven, however.
