I received a standard office reply from the Prime Minister's staff, stating they have received my e-mail. I don't know if that means he has read it, or is going to, or what. But it's nice to know that some Canadian political staff member has read my message to the people of Canada. They have to know were not all Trump's degenerate followers.

Text of my original e-mail:

Dear Mr. Prime Minister, I am an American citizen and a long-time admirer of Canada and its wonderful people. I hope you will accept on behalf of the Canadian people my apologies for the way in which the U.S government has essentially destroyed the long-standing positive international relationship between our two countries. I am shocked, embarrassed, and humiliated by the ways in which the person in the White House has behaved toward Canada and all of our erstwhile national allies. He does not speak for me or my family, and my home of Washington State remains a friend of British Columbia, and of Canada in general. I hope this breach will be short-lived, and that we may once more enjoy a close, friendly relationship between the U.S. and Canada. With much admiration, respect, and affection for the people of Canada.
