4. I have to admit i saw this Canada will be annexed by the Trump long before

the election. I just knew Trump would want to pull a Putin and invade a 'smaller' country. I warned my family. He had spoken about water in the "North" in a covetous way.

16. I've learnt so much. Politics was a passion i didn't know I had.

I first went to Bill Maher's website after Kerry lost the election and Republicans were so nasty. It was a mixed discussion forum and though I could outwit those idiots I didn't want to spend time doing that. Some Democrats
mentioned the DU. I looked. I loved it.

I was in NYC On New Year's Day 2001 with my sisters and their families and saw a Nation mag on the news stand.

They had an article about alternative news sources and Du was one of them. I bought a computer just for DU.. and learned to navigate it But it took awhile.. didn't join DU until July 2002.. and the rest is History!

Yeah DU is great.. No permanent trolls.

I didn't know I had a passion for politics, either. I just started paying attention because I wanted to make sure our SS was SAFE! Little did we know 2o something years Later!

I remember fascism is on the rise. But computers changed my life. I can get my thoughts out over time which is how I communicate best. Every day I feel I know a bit more about human beings. I just hope we all together make a difference.
