(25,940 posts)There is absolutely no reason in the world a T-38 trainer should be flying low level near DCA under any circumstance, and to be doing 350 knots is a dangerous and reckless operation.
Heads should roll.

But that makes 108 fatalities as of now... 3 months into the year.
That means other than the National Airport collision... around 14 fatalities per month.
If the year continues to play out like this... I'd expect around 108+ 130-ish for a total of approx 240 fatalities in 2025...
But this is just DATA... maybe emotions are more accurate.
