Skadden attorney resigns, citing the firm's decision to strike a deal with Trump

Bluesky post from Lawfare editor Anna Bower:

A Skadden attorney resigned today, citing the firm’s decision to strike a deal with Trump amid pressure campaign on law firms.

“f my employer cannot stand up for the rule of law, then I cannot ethically continue to work for them,” the former Skadden lawyer, Brenna Trout Frey, wrote on LinkedIn.

The old men with their pied-a-terre's and Hampton houses will always choose comfort over principle.

whoever the authors are of these ridiculous Executive Orders?

I assume they are lawyers who need to suffer rebuke and resounding denunciation by their professional colleagues.

Name them and drive them into the wilderness.

the partners than loyalty to the rule of law.

Why haven't the law firms banded together to resist this crap? I don't know how, but wouldn't they be better off working together instead of letting Trump Bondi pick them off individually?
