Mass Resignation From DOGE

Just saw a clip from MSNBC (I no longer have cable so have no ability to watch it anymore)
That 21 people from DOGE resigned in protest because they no longer wanted to be a party to this shit show.

Not sure how many people work for DOGE now but that has got to be a pretty big hit in staffing.

I understand the motives of good guys not wanting to be part of that, but the best way to oppose fascism is to stay in your post and obstruct them as much as possible, and sue and publicize when they fire you.

Quitting helps them. It's actually a selfish way to oppose them. You don't slow them down, you merely get to feel that you weren't a part of it.

Haven't had cable for almost three months so I'm limited to what seeing clips here and there and and what news I see. Very different than I what I thought.

They're going to need pardons from Trump and even if they get one, the life they have going forward is one of ongoing litigations.

We live in a society where people are scared AF to leave jobs. Unprincipled people in particular will stick with mistreatment and blatant ethical violations of felonious bosses because they need to belong to something more than they need a moral sense of self. Plenty stuck with the first Rapist Shit Show until the very end and hopped back on the bandwagon of badness for the sequel.

It's not like anyone at dodgy started out as an angel. They were chosen for what they lacked in their soul. And for those people to be willing to give up their jobs because musk is such a dizzy fucknuts says a lot.

But maybe he just promised them jobs elsewhere back in the private sector. Just spitballing. It's just astounding that demons want to leave hell because it's a little too hot.

I have a friend who works for the federal government and worked closely with some of the people who resigned. Most if not all of them were not people hired by DOGE. They were people who originally worked for United States Digital Services (USDS), which DOGE took over and renamed. USDS was created by President Obama in 2014 with the goal of improving and simplifying digital service, and improving federal websites. The mission of the agency was to "deliver better government services to the American people through technology and design." My friend says that many of the people who resigned were part of and helped build USDD from the very beginning. Ultimately, they realized they just couldn't stay and help Musk dismantle the government.
