Embattled Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is under fire again as a source is telling The Wall Street Journal that he brought his wife to a highly sensitive meeting with foreign military leaders.

Jennifer Rauchet Hegseth, a former Fox News producer, was reportedly at multiple meetings with foreign military counterparts where sensitive information was discussed, the WSJ reported citing multiple people present or had knowledge of the discussions.

According to the WSJ, the meetings took place at the Pentagon on March 6 between Hegseth and U.K. Secretary of Defense John Healey. The high-profile meeting included the head of the U.K.’s armed forces, Adm. Tony Radakin and the group reportedly discussed the U.S.'s decision to halt military intelligence sharing with Ukraine.

A secretary is at liberty to bring whomever they choose to these meetings, but the lists are usually kept to those that need to be there and attendees are expected to carry a high level of security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the information often being discussed.

Rauchet-Hegseth is not a defense department employee, a DOD official told the WSJ. Pentagon officials declined to tell the journal if Rauchet Hegseth holds any security clearance of any kind, but it is not uncommon for spouses of senior officials to hold low-level security clearance.
