Now that the government admits it deported an innocent man to El Salvador
and he had previously fled from there I'm hoping somebody in media, the courts or our elected officials has the brains and guts to not fall prey to the constructed narrative of the fascists. The questions that must be asked and answers demanded are: Number 1 "What is the current physical condition of this man?" Video proof is required immediately rather than words on a piece of paper. Don't allow someone to claim these thugs running the prison don't have cell phones. A f**king video should be available within minutes. Number 2 "Has the government of El Salvador or anybody else at any time given any elected or appointed official, agency, employee or contractor for the US government names of people they wanted returned/sent to El Salvador.?"
Now as for a judge making these demands and receiving the usual hand from the attorneys for the government let me explain something about getting compliance. Stop playing the BS game of giving them time and making threats. You have the power to not adjourn the court session and demand that all counsel remain. Keep that hearing in session for days if it takes it. Do not let them walk out of that hearing. If you do it will be endless weeks and months of delay and non-compliance. I can assure you that you will get compliance because these folks do not want to spend the next several days being escorted by bailiffs to use the bathroom in order to insure their return to the courtroom. A judge also has the power to restrict the use of phones and so he or she can limit access to one phone and only for the purpose of emergency or getting the info requested. No calling home to the spouse. No changing clothes. No visitors. Keep them there hour after hour and day after day. Stop letting them come into court and flipping judges the finger. Get tough, get ruthless and do it right from the beginning and don't let up until you get the information.
Give these filthy bastards just a tiny taste of what it is to be locked up and lose your freedom to come and go.
