The "who cares" Presidency

Unlike during his first term, trump can't seem to gather enough energy to project anger or even brag about his largely invented "accomplishments." He looks half asleep and ashen, has given up on dying his hair and eyebrows, and sometimes foregoes the makeup as well.

His answer to important policy questions is often a listless "I don't care" as a couple of days ago when he said he didn't care if the tariffs he forces on the economy cause car prices to go up. He also didn't care about signalgate, and said as much. He basically said he didn't know anything about it and wasn't going to do anything about it.

He doesn't know/care about what Elon is doing either.

I won't say it's weird because this is trump we're talking about. But it is creepy and shows again how afraid the corporate media is to comment on what is right in front of them.

You have my permission to use this! One thing it has going for it is it can be applied to so many topics from social security to tariffs to national security. And there are video examples.

It only took them three weeks to get rid of Biden.
If the MSM wanted him gone, he’d be gone.

2) He loves the power - not the work.
3) He loves the adoration and attention - not the work
4) He loves the access and ability to grift and con money from us to him - much easier than doing the work to earn it.
After he gets all of the above going for him - all he wants to do is let others carry out the actual work while he plays golf.

I also think he is medicated because he has been unusually mellow at times when he would normally be lashing out.

How to deal with him and his devotees:

“To argue with a man who has renounced the use and authority of reason, and whose philosophy consists in holding humanity in contempt, is like administering medicine to the dead, or endeavoring to convert an atheist by scripture.” Thomas Paine

how Thomas Paine could envision trump back then. And then I remember that history repeats itself and that much of today's trump "drama" is deliberate so that we forget that.
