Boy, the stock market is take a huge late day hit!

It was up early today and has plumbed before closing!

It probably worried about tomorrow and Dwarf’s target tariffs announcement?

Scary times ahead indeed!

Since most of my retirement money is in the stock market. And all in American companies, that would be disastrous.

The overall outlook is not only bad in short term but longer term we are facing a brain, idea and innovation drain due to anti-intellectual, anti-science fascism

The Dow closed yesterday at around 42,000. It opened at around 41,879 this morning and by 10:30 was down (not up) over 390. But by noon it had rallied to be up slightly to 42064. Then it dropped again bottoming out at 2:30 ar around 41736. Then it rallied again, finishing just about where it started -- 41,990.

So, no "huge late day hit".

And both the S&P and the NASDAQ finished up.
