Leavitt's "answer"? A long string of bullshit word salad that never mentions a court or what the man was convicted for.

12. The real question we should be asking

The real question we should be asking is how in the name of all that is holy is it legal for the U S to deport/send anyone to a foreign prison? The only legal choices are either to deport them to their country of origin after a legal hearing or if they have committed a crime to try them and sentence them to a U S prison and then deport them when they have served their sentence. Sending Venezuelans to a prison in El Salvador is NOT deporting them!

The answer to my question is that what is being done is not in any way legal period.
