One or more of my neighbors are very humorous, renaming their internet networks---

(have thought about doing this myself, but never got around to it...)

Previously some networks have been named,

"No more dogs"

"No 3 AM Leaf-blowing"

^^^^(and I have to suspect my next-door neighbors here,
as the wife next door told me the horror story of one of the across-the-street neighbors,
who had been out blowing leaves around at that exact hour in the middle of the night---
also about one of the same being naked in their front yard in the middle of the night,
on some other 'occasion')


Well, my internet was offline for a while tonight (thanks, ATT, or not),
which gave me the occasion to review the wireless networks in range...

the newest was

"FBI van1" !!!!


Laughed my friggin ass off at that!
I have some suspects in mind... lmao
Seemed designed to frighten someone else in the neighborhood... LOL


(I REALLY have to figure out how to rename my ATT,
before I get rid of it.... I read about how to do it somewhere,
but I didn't have the energy to bother with it...
would have to reconfigure my phone and printer and all that.....
but WHAT FUN could be had!!!!!
And my next door neighbors would be perplexed, I'm sure---
since I have been such a quiet guy going onto five years now, lol)

I suspect a certain guy who likes to sit on an office chair in his driveway,
in the mornings,
as being the '3 AM' leaf-blower... lol

Luckily he's about 5 or 6 houses down, on the opposite side of the road,
but don't think he's been doing that in the past few years

5. How about no more leaf blowers ever at any time

I hate them, and it goes on for many hours every day sometimes. Usually when I sleep, or when I’m trying to… I never really thought of getting creative with that. My brother picks the names and they’re interesting.

If you wanted to do something funny, you could do something like krasnov is a piece of shit, lol

I do run them over with the lawnmower sometimes too so, I guess that’s loud lol but not as bad as leaf blowers imo.

10. Lawn care used to make beautiful sounds

The sound of someone actually raking leaves or of a manual lawnmower clipping the grass was a pleasant, restful thing to hear on a summer afternoon. I also use a lawnmower to mulch the leaves.

12. I just looked at my nearby WIFI connections...

I've always used ethernet, so I rarely look at them. Most are named after their service provider.

The most exotic one is called 'new truffle', followed by 'worm hole'.

And this is in NYC.
