...and then throw them into a horrible prison for the rest of their lives, without a hearing or any sort. Regardless of whether they were U.S. citizens, landed immigrants, or undocumented aliens. No hearing, no evidence, no habeas corpus...NO JAIL! It's very simple.
So, is there a difference between rounding people up on the basis of their tattoos, and throwing them into an AMERICAN prison, and rounding people up on the basis of their tattoos, and throwing them into a FOREIGN prison, that's being paid to hold them?
That's imprisonment by PROXY. That's even WORSE than doing this with American prisons.
1. Why would ANYBODY think this is okay? And, more importantly
2. Are Trump's supporters really SO STUPID as to think that if the government is allowed to do this to THIS group of people, they're allowed to do it to ANY group of people? (Okay, don't answer that...)
Interesting. For half a century the gun nuts have been filling their basements with guns, claiming they're doing it to defend against 'tyranny.' Well, this is the closest thing I've ever seen to tyranny, and those turdbrains are nowhere in sight.

(55,421 posts)ADDITIONAL IDENTIFIERS
Homeland Secw-ity Investigations, Chicago Field Office, has obtained additional information to help identify TdA members:
• Typically males in the age range of 18-25 years old;
• Dressed in high-end w-ban street wear;
• Favor the Chicago BullsusPERbasketball jersey, specifically Michael JordanUSPERjerseyswith the number "23", and Jordan "Jump Man"
footwear/sneakers; and/ or
• Often wear sports attire from U.S. professional sports teams with Venezuelan nationals on them
These are the criteria they feel warrants kidnapping people from the street and shipping them to a Salvadorean torture prison!
Aside from being monstrous, this is just STUPID.

snatch and deport people off the street without allowing them due process via a lawyer/court hearing. Everyone must be allowed that.
I agree with you that the SC wrote that. My question is, will this administration follow that rule?

(59,597 posts)as the admin disobeying it will be their attempt to institute their brand of fascism by challenging all the checks and balances designed into our system to stop them.
If the system allows it, they win and it's all over for our democracy.
And the fat, orange, bloviating, mile-a-minute-lying criminal, adjudicated rapist is so not worth it.
We're going to find out soon enough as that blond bribe-taking Bondi, the AG, acts as trump's personal attorney instead of the independent head of the Justice Department.
Yes, we will see. I'm just concerned trump has more to offer her (pardon, money, private sector job, etc).
