Krasnov is throwing nonsense around and it is working. It is distracting from the simple truth.
Krasnov works for Putin. He is doing Putin's bidding. Tariffs are just a way to break up US alliances. There is no real or rational motive.
He is doing Putin's bidding. Breaking us up with Canada and Mexico and all of our European allies who have worked with us and stood up with us. This is simple and clear. This is breaking up reasonable resistance to Putin's goals. This is destroying rational unity. The fact that is also going to tank economies is just frosting on the cake. This is breaking alliances, reducing trust and making the free world less safe.
There is no brilliant strategy here apart from Putin getting Krasnov into office.
All the analysis, all the questions, just show how easy it is to get pulled into the nonsense. The truth is quite simple.

(11,837 posts)TWICE..........as long as there is a Trump controlled Republican Senate, it won't do any good........
Vance wouldn't be any good either, maybe somewhat worse in several ways.

If I ever felt a need to choose party over country, I would not want to be part of that party anymore.

(3,965 posts)I forget, though, how the Chewbacca angle works, since my only viewing of a Star Wars movie was back in 1977 when the first one came out.
BTW, I think Mr. Mayhew was great in that role.

(2,472 posts)Essentially a lawyer in South Park threw up a bunch of nonsense, said it was nonsense and confused the jury. Lawyers now reference and use the term all the time to describe nonsense arguments used by lawyers.

(40,424 posts)Like every fucking day. I mean we’re only talking about the fate of our nation and global stability here.
It wouldn’t even be a risk for any nervous Nellies out there. Last I saw Trump was -18 on his handling of Russia.
Every now and then someone strikes the right note. When JB Pritzker was asked about a month ago if he had one question for Trump without missing a beat he said, “What does Vladimir Putin have on you?” Until we find out our party should be blasting that message out every day. Per your OP, it’s not as if we lack supporting evidence for the claim.

(379 posts)Maybe we, should start teaching Russian in schools (if there are any schools left). Old but tried and true strategy, 'look to the left,, while I steal everything on the right'.

(2,472 posts)I expect that under the table bribes from countries that don't want to suffer are expected as well. Pity that Krasnov doesn't seem to keep deals unless they are with Putin. Those pee tapes have got to be a lot worse than anyone has yet imagined.
