8647....anyone else seeing these bumper stickers popping up?

I saw my first one on Sunday evening and a few more yesterday, here in the So Cal desert. The message is a bit aggressive, but if things keep going how they're going, I believe we'll see a lot more in short order.

What does 8647 mean ?
8647 is designed to be a silent form of protest that is designed to signal opposition to President Donald Trump. It's actually a combination of two numbers that have different meanings. 86 is a number commonly used to mean something like "get rid of," and 47 is the number president that Trump is in his second term. He was also the 45th president, so those numbers get a little bit confusing.

8647 therefore means that the people who display it want to get rid of Trump, or make it so that he is no longer the president. The message is vague about how exactly these people want to do that, but it seems that the point is to signal that you don't want Trump to be in the White House. It's not a call for impeachment necessarily, or even an endorsement of some other candidate. It's just a signal of opposition.

6. I saw it on a lot of signs at the last couple of protests. I have also

seen a lot of Foxtrot Delta Tango and Foxtrot Echo Mike signs using the military alphabet to say F Trump and Musk. I love seeing the enormous variety and creativity in the signs. It is an excellent visual of a true grass roots movement. Keep it up! Insist! Resist! Persist!

"I bought this before Elon went crazy" bumper sticker and a woman walking her dog by my apartment building with a "Gulf of Mexico" t-shirt.

Made me smile.

I was behind a Tesla with sticker that was a circle/slash through "Elon" -- my first spotting in the wild.

13. It was my first spotting as well on both. Granted, I'm in the Hollywood Hills so

it's bound to happen. I am surprised I haven't seen more but admittedly I'm not always looking.
One thing I've noticed (it may be nothing) is that there were one or two Cybertrash-trucks in the neighborhood and I haven't seen them in a few months. I was seeing them weekly.

The article stated that no one knows for sure how "86" came to be shorthand for the thought in discussion. The article advanced a few theories, though.
