(1) We are pretty much at full employment now.
(2) Trump is getting rid of lower cost immigrant labor.
(3) The cost to onshore manufacturing without labor means very high factory cost investments to use robotics to produce the products now imported from low labor cost countries. Which means higher costs to the consumer.

2. No, he will not give up

In 90 days he will try it again. But he'll know better what he can get away with and what he can't. He'll conclude the main problem was the numbers, so next time he'll go smaller.

Plus, he'll have 90 days to consolidate power elsewhere, so he'll be stronger most likely by then.

We need to use the 90 days yo make sure his approval is in the toilet or else it will succeed next time.
