Governor Gretchen Whitmer spoke on April 9, 2025, and her remarks have been sensationalized online as being MAGA-adjacent.

Instead, her speech is an well-spoken intonement of mainstream Democratic and democratic ideals and ideas which deserves no disparagement as being MAGA-adjacent.

What she says is a lot more sensible then most. A hard line will be disastrous .
