So, I was in a right-wing comment-section....

Literally 24 hours ago I was berated how tariffs are the best thing ever happening to the US and how tariffs are great and necessary and how this is just short-term pain for long-term gain.

Then how come Trump has proposed to pause them for 90 days?

What about the long-term gain? WE WANT THE LONG-TERM GAIN!

If tariffs are the magical bullet that will solve all financial problems, then why is Trump backing away from them and proposing negotiations?

he makes the rich, richer by crashing the market. I suggested people here sell their stocks in January/February but I sure got pretty trashed in comments.
I guess this is an I told you so, but it's also a plea to pay attention to market manipulation. THEY own the market and they want our social security so they have more to play with.
