Updated with Video: Trump signs Executive Order targeting Miles Taylor and Chris Krebs

Last edited Wed Apr 9, 2025, 05:34 PM - Edit history (1)

It's breaking news, so the story has yet to be fleshed out, but Trump just issued an Executive Order targeting two former Trump White House employees. I will update, but Miles Taylor was just on with Nicole Wallace.

[iUpdate: Raw Story writes:]

President Donald Trump ordered the Department of Justice to investigate Miles Taylor, a member of his first administration who wrote a New York Times op-ed under the pseudonym "Anonymous" claiming to be a member of the so-called resistance.

"What this presidential memorandum is going to do, one, it's going to strip any active clearance that he has in light of his past activities involving classified information," White House staff secretary Will Scharf explained as he handed the executive order to the president. "It's also going to order the Department of Justice to investigate his activities to see what else might come up in that context, given his egregious behavior during your previous administration."
For his part, Trump accused Taylor of saying "terrible things."

"And I think it's like a traitor. It's like spying. He walks into the office. He's supposed to be sitting here," he explained. "And he wrote a book, Anonymous, and I always thought it was terrible. And now we have a chance to find out whether or not it was terrible."

This is a Newsweek article about Miles Taylor and why he believed he would be in an orange jumpsuit if Trump got a second term.

Former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official Miles Taylor who served under Donald Trump voiced concern on Saturday about what a potential second term may look like for the former president, warning that he may weaponize the Department of Justice (DOJ) against his political rivals if reelected.

Trump, who is the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, is currently facing a flurry of legal battles that could complicate his bid to become the commander-in-chief once again. He has been indicted and arrested in four criminal cases—two state level and two federal level. However, he has pleaded not guilty to all counts and insists the charges against him are politically motivated.

The former president is facing charges in New York relating to claims that he orchestrated the payment of hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election, mishandled classified documents after leaving the White House, and broke the law attempting to overturn the 2020 presidential election—nationwide and in Georgia.

"A number of folks who worked in the Trump administration with me and have since spoken out against the ex-president, we joke darkly about the fact that in a second term, a number of us will be in orange jumpsuits in Guantanamo Bay," Taylor said during an interview Saturday on MSNBC's Alex Witt Reports.

Trump EO can be seen lying through his teeth; you must hear it to believe it. Forward to 18.22. The feed goes directly to Trump ranting about Scott Krebs.

2. He potentially just handed Taylor and Krebs a goldmine. They should sue for defamation, which

would probably amount to a Trump stall job until the end of his life, depose everyone in sight and then publish the depositions. Bestseller.

It goes from singling out institutions to now singling out individuals.

Fast approaching Count of Monte Cristo territory here.

The illiterate Trump did not write it himself.

So who did?

That person, or those persons, should know that what they were doing was beyond unconstitutional.

Name them, find them, confront them.

To counter the daily state issued opinion is to feel the wrath of the state. As my opinions carry no weight, they are of no matter. Those dissenting opinions with weight of consequence however, will be savaged by a state-issued, for-profit, pre-recorded tantrum.
