Deporting the people with visas working on their education..deporting people with tattoos who got a ticket for speeding years ago. We are so far down this dirty road…

(21,867 posts)The heartlessness of these legislators is hard to understand as I see how the two people I know, who are wheelchair bound, try to make due juggling doctors, medicine, transportation and to be blunt..their personal hygiene. Who are we, anyway?

(600 posts)I think Trump had a different motive for his fan dance with tariffs. He was deliberately manipulating the stock market so that he and his billionaire friends could scoop up cheapened stocks and take bigger chunks, even majority holdings, of several different corporations. He doesn't need to distract from butchering Medicaid; he wants people to see that he is unmoved by public opinion and sentiment.
