The same gap is there for for how the con is handling foreign policy, the federal workforce and deportations.
This is an obvious disconnect here. The only agreement in this Quinnipiac poll was that nobody likes or approves of Mike Waltz except Republicans.

(17,143 posts)I think we've underestimated how many men despise women. And Trump and his appointees are all despicable. Women know that, if they have their way, we will lose all of our rights. Men might've happy with that, but it also doesn't affect them, so they aren't as worried.

(35,431 posts)Affirmative action and DEI programs very much benefit white females although Republicans only focus on the racial aspect.
WOmen can see Hegseth firing women leaders. The book bans is pulling down books focused on gender..that's white women books. Not just lgbt
it seems obvious that many men are actively against women in leadership roles, and unconcerned about gender issues in general.

Although that statement was referring to high school kids, it reflects attitudes. "Womens' issues" are still seen as the domain of women. Many men still feel more comfortable with male leadership. The old paradigm is alive and well.
We are failing both boys and girls in this society.

For 50% of American men and the women who are financially dependent on them, that's a powerful appeal. It overrides a lot for them.
