1. Good. Vance was selfish and narcissistic as hell to insist on that one-on-one visit so soon after the Pope

had returned from 5 weeks in the hospital--including multiple days when he was not expected to survive! That he had met prior with the Pope's "second," should have sent the message.

So,, while he is the brunt of jokes--there is likely a morsel of truth in those pointing fingers at his responsibility (irresponsibility).

The fact that the Pope had to spend some of his final hours with a worthless punk like Vance is stomach-turning. Glad that a subordinate handled most of the unpleasant visit.
