Hey God, it's me, you know, the one who asks for one thing over and over

In this season of love, giving, and miracles, could you please see fit to show us some love and kindness and save us from this devil who has permeated our once great democracy? I am not asking just for me, but for all mankind. He is hurting so many people and destroying all that is good in this wonderful country. We are almost prayed out. Would you please show us some kindness and compassion in these terrible, terrible times? It would be greatly appreciated.

Amen

I am amazed that Trump and his Republican CABAL aren't having massive ICE and Border Patrol raids on churches across the entire nation, where the Mexicans congregate for Christmas Services............

He is quite literally...... the "ANTI-CHRIST"..................

e.g., we might be more like rats in a maze caught in an endless cycle of operant conditioning by one or more
entities that have no personal connection with any of us. If this is assumed to be a possibility, then we can postulate
the entity doesn't adhere to even the minimum standards of human researchers regarding animal experimentation. I guess that
might all resolve to the "god is evil" explanation; if evil is understood as amorality.

Then again, could just be an empty uncaring universe.

Distinction without a difference.

If God exists, he or she might help a corrupted person find the buried goodness that dwells deep within -- but Trump has only a bottomless pit of malignancy.

And even if he were gone tomorrow, the malefactors of great wealth and the ideologues of hatred who enabled and elevated the orange monstrosity to the highest office in the land are not going away any time soon.

But they can and will be defeated as the spirit rises and moves good people to steer America back onto the track of our great experiment in democracy.

need - (and the miseries of the world, etc.). And having decided in advance that he/she isn't going to provide them - (which could be done with the snap of a finger of course) - because in his wisdom he knows you're really better off not being happy - or safe - or free - or warm, or fed .... Because - 'building character' - or something ...

But remember! He loves you! ..... (even while the cancer is eating away the single most important thing in your life ... )

The 1% is intellectual honesty. I might be right. Christians might be right. Same with Jews, Muslims, Buddhist, Sikhs, or even Rastafarians. No one knows for sure.

I took Saturday catechism classes from 3rd -6th grade. Priests taught the 5th and 6th grade classes. After class we all went to confession (to save our souls of course) and I stand in line hoping and praying my class priest wasn't the confessor. If he was, I just knew he counted where I was in line! The last time I ever went to class was when it dawned on me, if god is all knowing and all seeing and forgiving, why was I sitting in this dark cubicle telling some guy I lied to my mother???!!!??? Lol The End.

When I was in high school I attended Sunday school with my best friend. Our teacher, a very pious soul, asked the class "What would you do if the people you died on the cross for continued to sin and commit evil acts?" One young man said "I'd jump down off that cross and kill them!"

It's been decades and it still cracks me up.

Have a wonderful 2026, Faux pas.

Was all that bull shit in the book about “fear no evil, you got their back” all just that, Bull Shit. How much of that book and Jesus messaging is just bull shit, and a way for the biggest cons on earth to thrive on “the word and the promise”?
Sure seems the most evil are getting real rich being evil. Seems pretty cult like.

After all, god made all the devils, including the ones infesting our government right now.

If this is all some grand experiment by a deity, maybe the whole idea is how we manage the devils among us.

Don't expect divine lightning to strike or cracks to open up to chute them home,, coping with them is our job.

I know and feel the frustration, however, this night mare could be stopped ASAP! if we had a Republican party who cared...This Republican Senate and Congress could stop this destruction of our country and our government today if they chose to! Remember! They are the majority!!! It's called Impeachment!!..But! They refuse to do what is needed.. John Thune, and Mike Johnson are cowards who stand with their party and the heck with the country... Its very sad to watch.. In addition! the Democratic leadership is not doing enough in putting the impeachment pressure on the Republicans. If not now? Then when?
