Buddhist monks walk across America to spread peace.

A quiet walk is cutting through the noise.

As we step into the new year, a group of monks is walking 2,300 miles across America, practicing peace in public: no slogans, no sermons, just presence. It’s not religious. It’s human. And it’s moving people.

Regular old folks excited to see such kind people walking for peace. And these were in some red areas.

It gives me hope.

ok, if they started in ft worth and are arriving in georgia they are well past me.

here is a good quote from the substack

The monks are not asking us to walk 2,300 miles. They are asking something harder: to put one peaceful step in front of another in our own lives. To choose kindness when indifference feels easier.
