Medical workers in Minnesota who are responding to the needs of people impacted by ICE raids are sounding the alarm on ICE’s cruel treatment of people in custody. According to several sources, ICE agents are reportedly releasing people they detain and leaving them in the wooded areas that surrounded federal building in Minneapolis.

This week at least 3 confirmed reports of ICE detainees being dumped in the wooded area with no clothes and having to be rushed to the hospital. One of the men found in the park had a skull fracture.

It's just that I can't find much other discussion of this. The short interview above is with Status Coup News, who are doing great work on the ground ... I subscribe to their YouTube channel ... but they are not a 'local news channel', per se. The I-gram post is from 3 days ago, and I can't find much discussion that's more recent. You'd think independent and commercial media would be all over this story.

There are a couple of Minneapolis Reddit threads (both started by the same person), but no one has followed up with anything concrete.

Seems like it would be a good idea to drive around the area, 'just in case'. I read in one of those threads above that they *are* releasing ppl from Whipple with 'just the clothes on their backs', no phone, etc, and there are folks who are watching out for them. One of the Reddit posters said, "There seems to be people on standby at the Whipple building just in case detainees are let out." That is very good news.

I did watch the video clip. Lots of people vouch for the woman who was interviewed.

I can't click through very far, since I don't do *any* social media outside of DU and a subreddit on gardening.

She says they've been doing this with Native Americans for a long time. Does she mean pre-Trump, or pre-Minneapolis Ice? How could this go on for a long time without being addressed?

By being put out with "no clothes", does she mean without winter clothes, or does she mean naked?

Death by winter is still murder, so if this is happening there should be more press.
And the state National Guard should be there protecting anyone waiting outside of the Whipple building to pick people up. Or picking people up themselves.

I hope people are documenting this. Without videos, it will become whatever ICE says.

Can someone verify this information? I've seen multiple reports that ICE has been leaving severely injured detainees from Whipple outside during the night
As the title says. I've been seen stories that people are being left in either local parks or the woods around the Whipple building? They keep getting left in the middle of the night. Always no phone, sometimes no clothes, no ID if they're not white.

Gan_aimn had a post on tiktok a couple nights ago claiming that there were 3 confirmed and 5 unconfirmed people in a local hospital. He also said that he and other people were checking the local parks so no one would freeze to death.
