1. THIS should have been our SOTU Rebuttal speech!

Instead of having an immediately presented, canned speech based on what we *guess* the president will say, we need 24 hours to fact-check and counter all the lies Trump used. THEN we present our rebuttal. We could put up a web page with links to actual evidence to inform people versus citizens having to trust Trump’s “evidence” of “People tell me…” or “I hear…” and sheer repetition of unchallenged lies.

For me, Bernie remains the heart & soul of our party. It’s too bad megadonors marginalize him.

Whatever Bernie is, so am I. That man is so honest and fearless. We need more like him.

6. I volunteered on his campaign

Registering voters and going door to door.

I even got my grandson to vote for him when he was 18.

My husband and I phone banked and went door to door for him. My husband even made the speech endorsing him at our caucus. The Bernie supporters far outnumbered other candidates by about five to one. It was so inspiring.

I can't help but think how different our country would be today if Bernie had been elected. I often say, "Bernie Sanders is the best president we never had".
