Trump Affects Everyone in the World

For those who don't know, I live 10 or 11 months a year in the Philippines as a permeant resident with my Filipina wife. We are both retired. I am 73 years old, she is 71.

Today, the price of diesel increased by 10 Philippine Pesos (PHP) per liter (that's about 80 cents a gallon, US). Gasoline increased by about 65 cents a gallon (8 PHP per liter). Almost every 4-wheel vehicle runs on diesel. Motor bikes and Tricycles (motor bike with passenger sidecars) run on gas. Those increases are for a 10-day period. The total diesel price is 64 PHP per liter. That's over $5.00 US per gallon. Surely, this is a result of Trump's "war of choice" in Iran.

I mention this because, although Filipinos have no say in the American government, the American actions have a great deal of an effect on their lives, as well as everyone else in the world.
