(32,321 posts)But I dont click on links where the poster doesnt give his/her opinions.
My opinion now is that you need to keep posting, need to keep giving your opinions, including your latest wrong one.🤨

I love to read DU.
I've loved the people, I love what everyone brings, each what they can.
I bring my recs.
I'm an old introvert, and hope you understand, Koz

(24,395 posts)There are lots more posters and posts. Many are navel gazing, many are important for democracy. And its easy to miss posts by close chums.
One thing has never changed: Good people still care for one another.
Sorry to learn what you are going through, Kozar. Please know you are not alone in spirit.

(4,464 posts)but I am always interested in what you say. Please dont be done. We have work to do together and many of us care, even if weve never met face to face. We are the only dependable allies other than those weve made in our own neighborhoods. Please know you are not alone. I for one, am still here listening and fighting for justice and democracy. Hugs to you, dear Koz.

(8,200 posts)There's always someone here who will listen.
I've gone through tough times when I felt like a zero, & what always helped me was to reconnect with things that make me happy. Something simple like good music or a good book can help you feel better.

(436 posts)Im also finding it harder to find posts I want to read. I skip posts with just a video. I always look for your posts. I dont usually reply to posts because Im not good at expressing myself and it is hard for me to type well on my phone.
There are many good people on DU that care about you. I understand if you just dont like DU anymore and dont want to post anymore. But you will be missed if you go.

(20,591 posts)In the state our country's in right now we must act as one. Together, we're greater than the sum of our parts, and every part must act accordingly.
I understand that you're down at the moment. It happens to almost everyone during our lifetimes. You're needed and wanted, and without you our sum is diminished. Get back on that horse and ride again. Our victory in November will lift everyone's spirits.
We. Need. You.

(3,096 posts)I share roughly the same opinions on some things that are DU related.
Don't let the fixation that some have with garbage posting get to you. Yes, they are quite noisy, but I view it no differently than spam in my email inbox. Some days are tough times, and those are the days we have to just keep going through the motions until it gets better again, because it will.
When all the hate and anger are stripped away, we are all the same and we all hold the same value, and that includes Koz. No one here is worth any more or any less than you.
Keep your chin up man, the bad days will come and go, it's up to you to be stronger

Just wanted to say. Your life, your decision, but I think you are appreciated here.

(22,648 posts)You have been through a lot physically.
But you're still here.
We're all still here.
Remember this: "The mind lives where the body lives".
Your body has suffered a shock, and in return, your mind will also suffer a shock...because of the stress endured by your body. This is normal and natural.
You need to remember that for the most part, we are all doing the best we can on this ride.
As your body heals over time, you will see things differently.
One day at a time, koz. One second at a time. Everyone here is rooting for you.
And everyone here, to wildly varying extents, is going through what you are going through.
Some of us can't admit that fact to ourselves, but I believe it to be true.
You're going to be alright, koz.
Make yourself believe that you will be alright, and it will happen.

(2,889 posts)Koz,
DU has changed a lot over the years....but it seems to reflect the changes of the times in general.
I visit here often but I don't contribute as much as I did back in the day. Frankly, it's not worth the time because they are ignored or whatever.
But it is not just here at DU. I find it annoying that news needs a middleman....a video....an intermediary to present it to you. It's like reading and discussing our no longer a thing...influencing is the deal. A one way street.
Perhaps, I contribute to the demise because I not only don't add in the form of new posts, as I once did, but I no longer really reply and converse either. I apologize for that. Because it may seem you mean zero to this website, I can tell you that flatly is not true. I love to see your posts....just seeing that you are posting is always a plus for me....it's comfortable and reassuring....not sure I am articulating that well.
I wish you the very best.
