Well today I saw regular unleaded gas at $5 per gallon for the first time ever

while on my to grocery shop where I paid 30% more for the usual weekly items. This is insane. On top of that, my medical insurance went up $90/month. While these cost may not affect the affluent very much, the rest of America has to be freaking out. The rich are getting richer while the rest of us get the finger.

gas costing 18 cents a gallon, and diesel 12 cents a gallon when I was 12...........years later, during my late teens, it had climbed to 28 cents a gallon, and costing under three bucks to fill my VW Bug's ten gallon tank...............

They were all mechanical number displays that only did cents and tenths of a cent. All the pumps had to have a piece of paper with the $1 taped ahead of the price per gallon.

there were a Gulf, Esso, Sunoco, and Texaco stations battling out gas prices on each corner of a city intersection. It was nuts.

Almost $7.00 for diesel. The downtown dining districts are becoming ghost towns as folks opt to stay home and save gas. The bus and rail system has seen a steep upsurge in ridership. Its 'frogs in boiling water' times. Our society is so highly dependent on cheap gas that a seismic change is inevitable. And think, 3 more years of Trump!

our bus and light rail ridership is declining every year, due to mismanagement of the RTD..........
We were sold a giant load of crap about both starting 20 years ago............

The price of Gas/Diesel is hitting us from all directions, not just our personal vehicles........Every thing in this nation moves by Trucks, Trains, Airplanes, and ships...........If you think the 30% increase in groceries and other things is already creaming you, just wait for this oil situation to clobber those prices BIG TIME.......

They sense that a bill could be coming due at the polls as this continues. They know Trump's policies are trash. They know his leadership is null. They know he is psychotic and vengeful and they still don't care as long as it allows them to be "special" and keeps the lower classes at bay.

But diesel is around $6.

That means EVERYTHING is going to cost more since it's hauled by trucks.
And since the last crude just now reached our refinerys, the price increases have just started.

Who could have guessed that a demented imbecile, who failed at every single business he ever tried, could cause so much economic havoc???

Gee, if there were a couple of smart women who could have warned us.....
